36-month hybrid battery maintenance program conditions

Hybrid battery maintenance program validity period and geographical region

The conditions of the hybrid battery warranty program begin to apply from the date of invoice.

The Hybrid Battery Care Program is valid in the following countries: Republic of Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Great Britain, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Poland, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, France, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary and Germany.

Hybrid Battery Warranty Program Procedure

In the event of a hybrid battery failure during the program period and if appropriate repairs are required, the customer whose battery is participating in the program is entitled, based on the terms of this program, to have the necessary repairs carried out at a SilentService repair center providing extended maintenance program services.

The Hybrid Battery Care Program does not cover damage

a) caused by direct effects of storm, hail, lightning, earthquake or flood, as well as fire or explosion;

b) caused by any act of war, civil war, civil commotion, strikes, lockouts, hijacking or other acts of arbitrariness or nuclear explosion;

c) caused by an accident, such as an event caused by an unexpected direct external mechanical force;

d) caused by intentional or premeditated actions, theft, misuse, robbery or misappropriation of property;

e) caused by a third party acting as a manufacturer or supplier who has taken or undertaken to take action under a repair contract or other warranty. This includes any recall campaigns and extended warranties conducted by the manufacturer;

f) caused by damage to the vehicle caused by the use of a larger axle or a heavier trailer than specified by the manufacturer;

g) caused by the use of unsuitable lubricants and fuels;

h) caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct;

i) caused by water ingress, corrosion, contaminated liquids;

j) caused by the use of a part that clearly requires repair, unless it can be proven that the damage is not related to the part to be repaired or that this part was at least temporarily repaired when the damage occurred;

The Hybrid Battery Maintenance Program does not apply to:

a) vehicles registered in the name of a car dealership or repair center, car repair shop or other type of commercial automotive business;

b) vehicles used for racing or other purposes related to driving training;

c) police, fire and ambulance vehicles, as well as other emergency services vehicles;

d) vehicles with technical defects;

e) if the hybrid battery has not been installed in the vehicle within 30 calendar days after purchase.

f) if the hybrid battery has been physically damaged, after its delivery to the customer.

g) damaged or forged warranty stickers (seals)

h) rewriting of the car's computer program, which may affect the operation of the battery.

i) installation of a hybrid battery in a vehicle of another make

j) Poor vehicle maintenance - including engine failure or poor engine power conditions, which cause the hybrid battery to discharge due to the engine not starting or not operating properly.
